The nail-in boxes may not work in every location depending on how they are oriented. In the photo above, it was difficult to pound in the nail due to the proximity to the stud. I also found that it is harder to keep the boxes in the right alignment when you pound them in; they tended to slip back slightly into the wall so that they weren’t always as flush with my paneling as I would have liked. Definitely make sure you don’t have a gap that exposes the inside of the box to combustible materials around it.
