Pull cable off the roll and run it through your fingers to straighten it a bit – this makes it easier to thread through the holes and avoids kinking the wire. The circuit is wired in segments, from box to box, so the lengths of cable are fairly short in most cases in a tiny house. Thread the cable through one of the holes in the box and cut it about 8″ beyond the box to use when you wire your devices. It’s best to run all cables in and out of either the top or the bottom of the box; this helps the wires to fold neatly back into the box when you are making them up.
